About Brett
A little bit of my story and how I became involved in real estate.
I grew up in the small town of Fennville, Michigan on a fruit farm. I learned many lifelong lessons working on the farm. The most influential was that hard work is truly rewarding.
After college I was hired at the Allegan County Sheriff's Office. I retired in 2024 as a Captain after almost 28 years.
Early on in my career at the Sheriff's Office, I met Brent Lubbers. He joined the force as a reserve deputy and we spent nearly 20 years working together. He was intrigued by police work and I was intrigued by real estate. We would spend countless hours speaking about our respective careers. We became best friends through this experience.
When I retired from the sheriff's office, the opportunity opened up to join City2Shore and become a member of Brent's team.
We now joke that I was his field training officer back in the day and now he is mine.
I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with my wife and daughter.
I look forward to helping clients by being an honest, compassionate, trustworthy person they can depend on when they need a friend and Realtor.
