We're here to serve you – anytime, anywhere.
As Covid-19 continues to impact our communities, our commitment to serve you remains the same. While our brokers, agents, and staff cope with some of the same issues you face, such as stay-at-home orders, school closings, and uncertainty, we are dedicated to helping families during these tough times. Though we are still operating as usual, we have taken a few steps to ensure our staff and clients remain safe.
In our home state of Michigan, our governor has issued an executive order for everyone to shelter at home until June 12th. Because of this, all Michigan offices are closed and we have instructed our agents and staff to work from home. Some real estate services are now permitted under the latest executive order, but we are required to limit physical contact between individuals as much as possible. In-person meetings and property showings with minimal people are allowed, while open houses and any other large gatherings of people on a property are prohibited. Many Michigan title companies, appraisers, and inspectors have continued to operate and all travel and interactions necessary to secure housing and shelter are permitted. If you are looking to buy or sell real estate, please contact your local Realtor for information on how to start the process.
For our clients who are not under a stay-at-home order, we ask that you comply with the CDC’s recommendations to prevent the spread of the virus:
Frequently wash and sanitize your hands.
Clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces.
Avoid close contact with people outside of your home, and when going out in public stay 6-feet away from people if possible.
Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when around others.
If you are experiencing symptoms similar to the coronavirus, call your doctor or primary care physician and quarantine yourself for at least 14 days. If your symptoms become severe or critical, please visit the emergency room.
Our thoughts are with those who have been impacted by the coronavirus. We will continue to take proactive, educated actions and keep the needs, health, and safety of our customers, employees, and communities at the forefront of every decision we make. If you are currently working with a City2Shore Realtor and have any questions about how this may affect your buying or selling situation, reach out to them with any questions you have. If you are wondering how this may impact your future plans or have any general questions about the current real estate market, you can contact us anytime.
